In 2003 Joe Middleton formed Whole
System Management
based on his desire to practice land
management acknowleding interconnectedness.
Joe works and lives in and around North Fork California. He is a professional logger
having worked in the woods since the early 1970s.
Joe has a passion for pursuing awareness that somehow acknowledges the real foundation of our basic human needs comes from the earth.
We must create or sustain the conditions needed to create or sustain that which we value such as clean air, clean water, healthy productive soil and diversity.
Joe makes
no distinction between sociological
health and environmental health. One
cannot exist without the other.
One of the objectives of this web site
is to facilitate learning with and educating communities. By implementing
projects, monitoring these projects
and sharing the results with everyone
hopefully we will benefit and learn
from this work.
